یه کار خیلی پراحساس و البته مینیمال از یه هنرمند ژاپنی ساکن امریکا.....
گرفتگی سرخ!
تحت تاثیر زلزله‌ی اخیر ژاپن این کار رو ساخته و فروش‌ش رو هم با اعمال انسان دوستانه گره زده!

گرچه زلزله ژاپن امر مهمی بود، اما به نظر فقط یه ذره درک شرایط روز لازمه تا فهم بشه اون چیزی که داره امروز در خاورمیانه رخ می ده ، مهم تر از این حرف هاست! خیلی خیلی مهم تر از زلزله و سیل و بلاهای طبیعی......

new york-based designer takeshi miyakawa has completed the prototype for his 'red eclipse' table. this limited edition
(10) coffee table appears as a complete japanese flag at first glance but up close, the center red circle is an empty hole
symbolizing 'the energy of the earthquake and the loss of so many souls' explains miyakawa.
90% of the sales proceeds will be donated to humanitarian relief work in japan and is available for 1000 USD directly from the designer.
measuring 24" wide x 36" in length x 15" high, the prototype is made of plywood, while the final versions will be from
MDF and PVC tube and finished with oil paint
