Haroshi

مجموعه مجسمه ای که به شخصه متوجه نشدم دقیقا چه طور می سازه این ها رو؟ گویا از شیت های چوبی اسکیت استفاده می کنه برای ساخت این ها, و اگرچه کارهای خاصی به لحاظ فرم پردازی نیستند اما ساخت خوب و دارای شخصیتی دارند!
Japanese artist Haroshi creates three-dimensional sculptures out of used wooden skateboard decks. An avid skateboarder, he began collecting broken skateboard parts in hopes of making them into art. Over the years he has developed a technique where he carves stacks of old skateboard decks and cuts them into wooden mosaics. He then assembles the mosaics into the chosen form in which the exposed layers reveal various patterns.
The dog sculpture (above) and the wheel sculpture (below) are part of the opening for the new HUF x Haroshi x DLX collaboration. Haroshi used broken skateboards ridden by various DLX team riders to make the new sculptures.
