allowing for flexible customization and integration of greenery on paved urban floors, swedish designer caroline brahme has developed a series of paving stones that can host vegetation. each tile has different amounts of perforation - from 1 to 8 spaces, where plants can grow. as these stones make up many of a city’s impervious surfaces, the product can be very flexibly incorporated into the environment. the quantity of greenery on the concrete blocks can easily be customized and increased without taking up much extra space - primarily intended to be used within the surfaces of urban wastelands.
